Animating / Modelling / Re: Bullet shell animation when firing?

The bullet ejecting from the weapon in game is an FX, not an animation.

Change your highLodDist to a higher number.

Yes I never said this had Ghost fix in it.

If you want to export from Ghost use the one I've linked many times:

This isn't working for me in single player.
The specific model I'm after is only in single player :/

Join the weapon to the rig, then select all joints and meshes. Export. Works for me.

Mapping / Re: cod 4 textures

Is there an easier way cause getting the mod tools for cod4 and dragging and dropping the textures in waw raw images DOES NOT WORK! Please someone help me!
Doing it that way requires you have the materials and material_properties for each of the textures as well, not just images.

Animating / Modelling / Re: Cant find MW2 Walk/jump Anims for weapons
« on: February 04, 2015, 08:20:37 PM »
ty for reply .
I mean 1st person walk/run for each gun .
U mean the idle animation is played when the player walks , or stands idle or crouching ?
They gone through making every single animation , and they make a simple walk animation ?

For example idle animation for AK47-tac  is only 4 frames long (0 to 3) and doesnt contain any movement at all . but in the game if you equip ak47-tac and run or stands idle , the animation is clearly more than 4 frames, and it has some movement .

Is there anything i missed ?

The idle animation is played in stand, crouch, and prone. The movement you see is controlled by the weaponfile in these settings.

If you want the movement to more closely resemble the movement seen in MW2 and after, I've seen a couple of people have made "real walking" scripts that you can look for.

Walk, run, and crouch anims? Do you mean like 3rd person character animations? Or do you mean the walk, run, and crouch animations for a gun? Because there is no such animations for guns. The idle animation is the animation that is played for that and then the stand movement and crouch movement settings determine how the weapon acts while you are walking or crouching.

Hello... You need to set joint orient in right direction (yest, they r flipped  ;D)... then model will work with ghost rig   :-*
(Image removed from quote.)

What should the joint orient be? 0 0 0 for every joint?
Could you elaborate on how to do that?  :)
Thank you

Select the joint then press ctrl + A and you should see joint orient.

I will work out what's changed in new version and fix it tonight :)

This version worked for me although it was unable to find the Extinction DLC Character models in mp and I couldn't get it to work at all in the menus to try and find the models from there. I know they're loaded in the menu though as I exported them from the menu once but lost the files.

Yer it's not using the scan I might remove the definition for your exe and see if the scan works better.
Ah, okay. Just let me know.
The images that did come with the few models it did export were unreadable as well. Not sure if that's related.

Scan being it finds the game? It find the game. Gets this far then quits on me. Even made myself dinner waiting on it last night. I've also tried different filters.

The menu got to here before quitting on me

Having the same issue. I need some Fog models but it doesn't export more than 4 models before doing nothing. Using a steam copy of Ghosts. Ran lime as admin but no luck there either. Also tried running it on Octane with no luck. It only exported 1 model there.
