Tool Updates / IWI Viewer Update.

I've just updated the IWI viewer.




Updates:

* Allow filtering iwi list with 2 letters instead of 3
* Window can now be re-sized
* Window position and size is saved
* Ability to move camera(shift+RMB OR MMB)
* Hotkey to reset view(SpaceBar)
* Correct MipMap count in DDS files
* Supports opening file by command line(allowing you to open iwi's directly with it)

OVERVIEW
TMG Castle is my latest zombie map using the "Quizz mod" based on the WAW mp map - Castle. The map is akin to the stock zombie maps with it's creepy atmosphere and many different paths to open. included are all the things you would expect from one of my maps and more, some of which are listed below.

MAP FEATURES
  • Many new weapons
  • Randomize weapon camos
  • Random Pack-A-Punch giving a random weapon upgrade
  • New perk system
  • One use ammo boxes throughout the map
  • Ending which require objectives to be completed first
  • Bonus map included - Castle Defence


QUIZZ MOD FEATURES
"Quizz mod" is a group of features as well as tweaks to the stock zombies mode. These features haven been added to either fix something within the stock zombies or just add something I thought it needed. The majority of changes were done by me hence the mod name, however I did get some help from YaPh1l. Below is a list of changes as well as new features you should be aware of before playing any of my maps.
  • Only gain points for kills
  • 20 points per kill +10 more for a headshot
  • +10 points per kill assist in co-op
  • Points capped at 1000, but you can buy bigger wallets to increase this
  • FOV set to 75 instead of 65
  • Redesigned hud
  • Hitmarkers
  • Bonus points powerup gives a random amount of points, or gives nothing
  • nukes kill zombies faster
  • x2 points powerup now works with nukes, bonus points, and assist points
  • Max ammo powerup refills equipment and weapon clips automatically
  • Zombie counter on screen
  • Dogs only spawn on dog rounds
  • More dogs spawn at a time but are weaker
  • 40sec skipable break between rounds
  • There is no limit to how many times a weapon can be upgraded
  • Upgrading a weapon gives it full ammo, but you cannot buy upgraded ammo off the wall

New Features / User Portfolios

Portfolio:

Every user on the site now has their very own portfolio, the content of the portfolio is manged for you, all you have to do is use the site as normal, post WIP for anything your working on and adding downloads for anything you have finished.

If you are a mapper this allows you to easily link people to all your work, where they can watch the trailers / download your maps.

You can access your portfolio via your profile:



You can also view anyone's portfolio by navigating to their profile and clicking 'view portfolio'




Which will look something like this:



Where you can easily browse all the downloads for projects made by that user as well as watch the trailers for them all right in the portfolio.

Any projects they are working on are also displayed with a link to the topic along with a progress bar.

New Features / WIP Progress Meters

WIP:

The wip area now displays progress meters for every topic, allowing you to easily glance at the projects and see which are near to been complete and which ones are not that far along. Making it easy to see what will be coming out soon / need beta testing.




If you have a WIP topic you can edit the progress just by editing your topic:




This progress value is also used in your portfolio.

Tool WIP / Xmodel Utils Update

I'm going to release a update for Xmodel Utils.

So far it has the following additions:

* Adds more light settings
* Fixed bones in XE
* White verts in MA's
* Mini option menu
* Updated tray msg(click to open location)
* Tag view will display correct root joint name aka 'j_gun'

Please post below and new features you would like / and bugs you know off so I can fix them.
